oh, elliot. i saw you out at the empty bottle. i was in the back, against the brick wall. it was just you and your guitar for an acoustic set. afterward my friend and i were in the back and somehow you ended up standing next to me for a few minutes. i wanted to say something. anything. but i just couldn’t bring myself to speak.
